The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the beach and close to shops and cafes. the room was clean and had all the necessary amenities like a fridge, TV, and microwave. the large enclosed courtyard with a pool was great for our group of friends who enjoy going out at nights. We loved the abundance of BBQs, which meant we never had to wait to cook. the friendly atmosphere made us feel welcome and safe.
Felt just like home, no complaints whatsoever.

I had a great value for my money at this hotel. The room was clean and tidy, and the beachfront location was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful at Denham's hidden gem.
The morning meal would have been even better with a wider variety of options.

Located right across from the beach, which was really convenient. , the pricing was really cheap, making it a budget-friendly option. The room had a small kitchen with essential appliances, perfect for basic cooking needs.
The furniture in the room was really old and worn out, definitely in need of replacement. there was a lot of noise from neighboring rooms, especially during cooking and food delivery.

Bay Lodge in Denham definitely gave us great value for our money. The room was spacious and comfortable, with two queen beds instead of bunks, a pleasant surprise. The location was ideal, with the beach just opposite our room and plenty of food options within walking distance. We also felt safe and the staff were pretty good by kindly mailing my forgotten items to Broome.
As for breakfast offerings, it would have been nice to have a wider variety.

During my recent stay at Bay Lodge, I was delighted to discover that it had a fantastic beachfront location. Being just steps away from the beach allowed me to enjoy breathtaking sunsets every evening. The room, although small, was clean and tidy, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The check-in and check-out process was quick and easy, allowing me more time to explore the surrounding area. I was pleasantly surprised by how conveniently located the lodge was to the town, making it a breeze to walk there in just a few minutes. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Bay Lodge for its ideal location.
Although Bay Lodge provided great value for money, I did notice a couple of minor drawbacks. I would have appreciated more pillows in the room for additional comfort.

Now, let's move on to the few positives. The location of the hotel was pretty good, and the outdoor facilities were enjoyable. Plus, the website did mention that the rooms would have a fully equipped kitchen, so at least the fridge and basic kitchen facilities were fine. However, overall, my experience at this hotel was far from pleasant.
Okay, let's start with the worst parts of my stay. the view from my room was completely blocked by these gigantic boats that belonged to the people next door.

We recently stayed at Bay Lodge for a week and it was absolutely fantastic. The location is unbeatable, right across from the beach on the quieter end of town. The owner and staff were incredibly accommodating and had great plans for making personalized improvements. The unit itself was lovely, opening out to a beautiful community area with two BBQ areas and a swimming pool. It's also within walking distance to a wood-fired pizza takeaway and a fabulous local museum. We enjoyed easy drives to Monkey Mia and Shell Beach, making it the perfect base for exploring Shark Bay. We couldn't ask for a better place to stay in this amazing little town.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
